Dear Friends and Fans of the
Field of Dreams and the Ghost Players,
I want you to help promote the Field of Dreams projects.
My goal is to let the City Council know that residents, non-residents & businesses realize that the development of the All-Star Ballpark Heaven complex will ensure the preservation of the Field of Dreams movie site. I hope to let the council and media know how this magical place benefits people locally and around the world.
Let the City Council and Media know your opinion.
It is easy. Send emails with your opinions and stories to: email@example.com. I will share the replies with the members of the Dyersville City Council and media outlets.
Others care because many have personally experienced the magic of the Field through visiting and/or interaction with the Ghost Players. Many want their children or grandchildren to have that chance too.
I am wild about the work my friends did as Ghost Players and am wild about the Field of Dreams. Your replies and the development of the All-Star Ballpark Heaven complex will help preserve the famous movie site.
Your voice is needed. You will make a difference. Please send me a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your heart-felt comments can be short or long. You might state that you want the Field of Dreams movie site preserved for people today and for generations to come. You may want to tell a personal story or mention how you think this change will benefit Dyersville. The City Council will value them.
This is not a petition. It is a way for you to support an amazing part of our culture.
As I was getting this note ready to send you my brother, Scott from California, sent me this note. I love the serendipity of the timing so I thought I would send it to you too.
“The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events.
He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions.
The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics. The imbecile doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.”
