Ghosts Heading Toward Home

Denise Stillman made public her invitation to the Ghost Players to return to the Field of Dreams in Dyersville Ia. The boys will be suiting up and and showing up to their home field on July 7th. It has been six years since they played in the outfield and sixteen years since they played on the whole field. We are thankful for the welcome home.
The Ghosts have not played on this field since the team retired back in 2007.Ghost Players Frank Dardis, Hank (Ron) Lucas, and Paul Scherrman, were on hand when Stillman made the announcement in Dubuque during the Dubuque Convention and Visitors Bureau's Annual Hospitality Breakfast, which is a morning celebration of the local hospitality industry.
All-Star Ballpark Heaven has started signing up teams to play for the 2014 ball season. They have a pretty exciting experience planned for the kids. Each team will receive:

Two of the Crew
Two amazing characters have teamed up to bring the Ghost Players back to the original Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa.
Marv Maiers has a long baseball career playing and sharing his knowledge of the game. As a handle-bar mustache road manager of the Ghost Players he entertained thousand with his production of the “Greatest Show On Dirt”. Marv continues to teach sports and maintains his competitive edge by coaching local youth in the Ameican Legion's sports programs. He also maintians a 205+average for bowling.
Keith Rahe is the founder and creative force behind the Ghost Players. He’s put together events that have amazed major production companies from Chicago to LA. He is now working his magic in Dubuque, Iowa. He is the president of the Convention & Visitors Bureau & Event Coordinator of America’s River Festivals.
We Will Be Back Premieres
We Will Be Back "The Lake Delhi Story" highlights a brief early history followed by stories and footage from decades of families enjoying the lake at such familiar places as "Campo Delhi" and "Freddy's Beach."
DreamCatcher Productions, the company that produced the Ghost Player documentary, is proud to have helped the Cunliffes as they worked on their first feature.
"We Will Be Back." - held its world premiere screenings on May 18 at 1, 3, and 5 p.m. at the Castle Theatre in Manchester, Iowa. The 5p.m. screening sold out days before the screening and the other two screenings were nearly sell-out crowds too.
The films is an award-winning documentary by Charles & Mary Cunliffe, about Lake Delhi Iowa, and the devastating flood of 2010.
